After the Fire USA began working in Los Angeles the day after the Palisades and Eaton fires began, and we are staying for the long middle of recovery.
In 21 months:
• 6,213 documented hours of senior counsel
• 105+ Los Angeles organizations supported
• 14 multi-day delegations
• 86.7% of our time spent directly with survivor leaders and the organizations serving them
We support leaders on the ground with expertise, coaching, connectivity, advocacy, disaster translation and a national volunteer network of survivor leaders. We were the community lead on $6.5 billion in federal tax relief for disaster survivors.
